Dreaming of France

We all need a little "R & R" and artistic inspiration, right? So, today I am shopping for a french vacation rental. Some of these homes give new meaning to the word "relic", so it's at the very least a good research project ! For example , take a look at "Le Chesnay".......a 17nth century manor house in Normandy . The rental agency's description reads " will be ideal for young children as the wildlife conspires to keep them playful and astonished ". Hmmm...

Moving along to Provence, I found a 19nth century home called Cairanne. How about finding yourself up under the blue umbrella on the vine-covered balcony?

Cairanne and it's view of the Provencal horizon in summertime. All I can say is " W O W " !!

Featured in Veranda Magazine in 2002, Goult is a 17nth century town house fully renovated (airconditioning) and owned by none other than an American couple. The interior is beautifully done with all the modern ammenities. See www.frenchhomerentals.com/provence/goult to tour the home with it's gourmet kitchen, swimming pool, and breathtaking views. I think I've made my choice...............
