your pieces hold the ambience of a thousand loves found and a thousand loves lost.

They're lovely and I must say that this is a unique blog. I've never stumbled onto a blog that is about relics and antiques. Keep it up.

I would like to invite you to leave a comment on my blog. At my blog I ask people to tell me about their day in seven words or less. Just leave me a comment with your seven words, you can do it anonymously. If you'd rather not, then have a nice day.

Your artwork and web site bring to mind a John Donne poem titled "The Relic" which is about two lovers buried long ago who are unearthed to create a new grave. The soft edges of your pieces give me the feeling that they belong to an eternal garden. Isn't it ironic that the more worn down we become through time and trials, the more enduring human and fundemental qualities are brought forth from with in (like the Velveteen Rabbit). Perhaps this is in essence what you are doing with the wood in your hands, making it alive and eternal as you work into it your vision and heart?
